The Gentlemen Behind Far and Sure
Andrew P. Revell
For the past 30 years, golf and golf travel have been a major part of my life, and I have regularly been the point person to make sure every detail is handled. I’ve had the good fortune to play many of the top courses in the U.S., but my greatest thrills in golf travel continue to be trips to the land where the game began. In 2003, I made my maiden voyage to the British Isles, and it had a profound impact on how I view golf and golf courses. In a way, it was a spiritual experience, and I vividly remember the chills I had on the first tee at The Old Course at St. Andrews. I knew on that very first trip I wanted to return as often as possible. Over the last 16 years I have made many trips to Scotland, Ireland & England, playing many of the famous courses while always seeking out the lesser known “hidden gems.” Now, through Far and Sure Golf Tours, I can play a part in helping others experience the joys that I have experienced where golf is at its greatest!
Home for me is Homer Glen Illinois, where I have lived the past 8 years with my wife Christine and our two children, Victoria and Phillip. Olympia Fields CC is my home course, and I am also a member of Royal Dornoch GC.

I have had a passion for golf travel, history, and architecture for as long as I can remember. Putting a golf trip together is a thrill for me - whether it be with friends, family, or fellow acquaintances. As much as we all appreciate the household courses everyone discusses, my biggest enjoyment comes from playing hidden gems. I love the game of golf in that it offers the opportunity to meet people with a like minded passion. Golf abroad has enthralled me for quite some time, and have spent extended time in the St. Andrews and East Lothian areas.
I play my golf at Olympia Fields CC in Chicago, and am a co-founder of Sugarloaf Social Club. I look forward to hopefully sharing a walk on the links sooner than later. If you have any questions as to how we can offer our expertise, please contact us.
Graylyn P. Loomis
Golf has always been a part of my life. It started at 6 years old, with golf lessons from my dad in North Carolina. I have him to thank for my love of golf, which grew into a competitive high school career and my eventual choice to attend college at the University of St Andrews. I lived the golfer’s dream for those four years, amassing more than 180 rounds on the Old Course between classes, caddying, and documenting all that Scottish golf has to offer.
I share much of my golf journey on my website graylynloomis.com, and through Far and Sure Golf Tours I plan to spread even more knowledge and ensure that clients have trips abroad that maximize value and create unforgettable memories.
